Brief outline of CCBH courses
Structure of courses
The Foundation in Hypnosis, Counselling and Rapport Skills course is of six months" duration with lectures spread over six weekends (Saturday and Sunday) at monthly intervals.
The Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy is of twelve months" duration with lectures spread over twelve weekends (Saturday and Sunday) at monthly intervals.
The Advanced Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy is of six months" duration with lectures spread over six weekends (Saturday and Sunday) at monthly intervals.
Additionally we have the Fast Track Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy which is of six months" duration with lectures spread over six weekends (Saturday and Sunday) at monthly intervals. This course is subject to specific entry requirements.
Foundation Course
Theory and practice of hypnosis, counselling and rapport skills and ethics.
Diploma Course
- Cognitive and behavioural theory and practice
- Theory and practice of hypnotherapy and cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy
- Specific applications and conditions
- Practice of cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy
- Psychotherapy models utilised in cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy e.g. psychodynamic work, such as regression, ego state or parts therapy, inner child concept.
Advanced Course
The Cognitive and Behavioural Hypnotherapy view of:
- Obsessive compulsive disorder
- Eating disorders
- Panic disorder
- Post-traumatic stress disorder - as a consequence of emotional, physical and sexual abuse
- Reactive and clinical depression
- Chronic fatigue and addiction
Further protocols that can be integrated with CBH specifically for the treatment of the above clinical problems and the development of integrative treatment strategies are taught. For example, solution focused therapy, is used when working with eating disorders.
Learning additional protocols and techniques is best done by seeing them in action and as part of a treatment protocol for a specific problem. This way you can learn when and why to use them.
